Donating

Donating
Donating is completely optional, but helps a ton! You get some perks as well.
The server is up and running because of a renting service that cost monthly.  I really don't mind paying for it with money out of my own pocket.  I enjoy being able to meet new people to game with along with seeing others make friends.  I especially enjoy seeing this server grow, BUT If you donate a total of $15 you'll get a Donor rank which gives you the following:
  • Ability to join the "Donor" channel.
  • Allows you to upload files to the "File Room" channel at the bottom of the server. To do so: Right click the channel "File Room," click "Open File Browser," and then click the upload button at the top of the new window that popped up.
  • Gives you a unique icon next to your name.
  • Your name will be added to the Donor Page.
  • You have the ability to create temporary channels for you and your friends to join.  To do so: Right click any channel, click on "Create Channel" and then edit the channel to fit your needs.
  • Best out of all, you become a VIP Member for a year. What does that mean?  It means that if the server is full you'll get in.  Don't worry about being locked out of the server ever again. Once I verify that you've payed I'll add your name to a list and it'll be active for 365 days. After 365 days you'll have to pay an additional $15 for another year. If you decide to donate more than $15 we'll be sure to compensate you with a longer term. This only applies to being a VIP Member in the server. You'll keep everything else above forever, regardless of recurring payments.
  • VIP Members also get a unique icon on top of the original.
( Curious to see how much time you have left? Check the Trello: Expiration Dates )

You don't have to donate the full $15 right away! I'll keep track of who donated and how much.  So feel free to donate in increments.

Where Do the Donations Go?
All donations will go directly toward the Teamspeak 3 server.  I will only use the donations to keep the server up and running as well as to increase the number of slots. However, I will not waste the money on upgrading the server slots if I don't have the base number of users on daily.  If I see I have a good amount of donations, more than needed to run the Teamspeak server, I would then start using it for giveaways (Donors only) or even game servers for our most popular game in the Teamspeak.  If anyone has any questions about donating, please don't hesitate to ask myself or any other admin/mod.

How to donate
There's two optional ways to donate.  One is directly supporting the server. What I mean by this is that you can click this link: Teamspeak 3 Group Pay and directly put money into the Teamspeak "bank."  The second way is through PayPal.  You can simply donate one time or set it up so that it donates for you monthly.
Once you have donated contact either me or an admin so that we can verify. DO NOT contact anyone lower in rank.

Teamspeak 3 Information

Welcome to the Military Gaming CO Teamspeak 3 server!  What you'll be reading below is ground rules, file transfers, ranks (what they mean), a list of current admins/mods, and commands/controls you should know..

Right off the bat, I want to let everyone know there is absolutely no signing up or payment necessary. This server is purely for meeting new people and creating a better communication between players and their friends in-game.

Rules
There isn't a lot so we'll be strict with punishment if you break any of the following:
  1. Speak English! This is an American Teamspeak 3 server. I don't care if you're from Canada, Mexico, Italy, ETC. As long as you're speaking English, you're welcome here.
  2. Be respectful to everyone, not just admins/mods.  If you don't like someone be sure to mute them. Simple as that. (Scroll down to the controls for more information)
  3. No inappropriate links.  Examples: sexual content, viruses, and  advertisements. This is a mature gaming community. If you can't handle that, I will have no problem banning you.
  4. No channel spamming.  What this means is don't join/leave a channel repeatedly where it causes disturbance to others.
  5. We DO NOT tolerate sexual harassment! First strike: 24 hour ban. Second strike: Permanent ban.

File Transfer
We do allow users to access our file transfer services located at the bottom of the server. It's named "File Room."  You can download and browse files as much as you want.  To access this, just right click the channel and click "Open File Browser." The only ability you won't be able to do is upload, unless you donate. (Click Here for more information)
